THE White sandy beaches, crystal clear blue sea, brilliant underwater world, located in the South China Sea off the northeast coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It lies about 45km north-northeast of Kuala Terengganu, the state capital of Terengganu. Its offering some of the best snorkeling and diving due to its rich diversity of coral reefs and marine life. Its white sandy beaches and clear waters make it one of the most popular beach destinations in the region.

Shahbandar jetty is located about 30 mins drive away from the Kuala Terengganu Airport. Depart from Kuala Terengganu's Shahbandar jetty to Redang Island, its take approx. 1 hour and 40 mins by ferries. The ferries and quite comfortable to be seated and Air-Con in good condition, that was really unpredictable.




Arrival at Laguna Resort Jetty after 1 hour 40 mins ferry transfer, and then having a short briefing at Arrival Hall about the rules and regulations of Redang Island. I was wanted to collect some goodies from the beach such as : sea Shell... but it would be violating the rules, the person who violates will be fine RM20,000 or 2 years jail. scary T_T . After That we were transferred by a truck to Laguna Resort Lobby for Check-in.

Laguna Resort

The Most Exclusive Resort which located in Pasir Panjang. the low-rise resort that was designed as a modern interpretation of traditional Malay architecture to be in total harmony with its nature surroundings with facilities such as Internet Connections, Business center, Meeting Room and Conference facilities, Safe deposit boxes, Foreign currency exchange, Parcel and postal services, A la Carte Restaurant, Buffet Restaurant, The Island Lobby Bar, The Beach Club, swimming pool with jacuzzi and so on.



My room was at the pool side and the pool was considered clean and big. It has a swim pool, slide pool for kids and a jacuzzi. The room is cozy, clean, spacious and is adequate. Complimentary bottled mineral water, tea bags, coffee powder, thermal kettle, mini refrigerator,TV, hair dryer, shampoo and bath. the Television broadcast has Tv1 - 3, NTV7, channel 9 and one of the channel was non-stop showing the film called "Summer Holiday" starring by Sammi Cheng, Richie Ren which was shot in its own beach & resort if im not mistaken. ^^




Food was nice as they served international buffet throughout all meals but basically sucks!! To be Honestly, i dont like the foods and Drinks, they only served cold water (ais kosong) for every Lunch and Dinner.

The Beach

White sandy beaches and crystal clear blue sea .. have a walk in the beach after a meal is good for digestion. The sand in the beach is as fine as Hourglass's sand. Beach is clean but i can found some plastic bags floating around.. i dont know why those people just dont listen during the briefing !! pls dun litter the best Beach..

the Sunset view in Redang Island was really unforgettable and good memory in my life.

nightlife

Laguna redang has a live band but its not great, good effort but not great. There isnt much nightlife in Laguna Redang but the hotel(Redang Beach Resort) next to us has a disco. Many tourist enjoying dancing at the beach :)

Snorkelling @ Marine Park

Redang Island Marine Par, if you go to Redang Island, this is the place u must visit .. its a nice place for u to snokelling. A RM5.00 will be charged for every entry to Marine Park. we were traveled by boat about 30 mins to reached the destination.
There's a Staircase to lead you down to the sea at the Marine Park Jetty...too bad :( im not a good swimmer , i prefer go to the shallow Sea front. With the clean & clear sea water, you can definitely see tons of fishes swimming here and there.

Feeding Fish @ Marine Park

You can get a packet of bread from those beach boys to feed fishes at Marine Park, cost RM2.00/pkt. Better buy 2-3 packets because those fishes are hungry .. trust me, it will be a wonderful experience feeding fish at there :)

The More More Tea Inn

Redang Beach

The best beautiful beach with soft white sands, shaded by beautiful palms, overlooking the crystal blue waters, the best beach ever .. its so amazing ! u gotta go there to experience yourself, no words can be describe the beach!
